If you’re a single mom, you've got it pretty tough. I can’t imagine being a parent all by myself. I need my backup, my wife, and she needs me. You ladies are special people, but you might also feel a little bit alone today. Let me give you some encouragement. Here are seven encouraging thoughts today from writer Crystal McDowell, along with the verses she shares with them. “God is your Husband” (Isaiah 54:5). “God is your Provider”(Genesis 22:8). “God is your Protector” (Deuteronomy 23:14). “God is your Father” (Psalm 68:5). “God is your Helper” (Hebrews 13:6). “God is your Peace” (1 Thessalonians 5:23). And “God is your Future” (Deuteronomy 4:40). Moms, take heart—God is there.
