Valentines Day. It’s a time for love. Mom and Dad, I hope you’re making time for yourselves today. But, your teen may be in a relationship. You may not be thrilled about that, either. I know you’ve heard it, But, Mom and Dad, we’re in love. Personally, I hope my daughter never has a boyfriend until she’s ready to get married, but the reality is, some kids are already involved in serious relationships. How do you handle it? I’ve personally put my foot down and said no. In another case, I put serious restrictions in place and let the novelty wear off. Right or wrong, Moms and Dads, we need to model a loving, lasting relationship for our kids. Ephesians 5:33 says, “[Husbands,] let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband” (ESV).
