One of the biproducts of the Covid-19 pandemic has been fear, separation and division. There are people who love family and friends with very different opinions on what we should be doing in response to it. Because of that, families have been separated, preventing some grandparents from sharing Christ with their grandkids. One grandpa told me recently he hasn’t seen his grandkids in over a year because opinions prevent togetherness. It can be utter anguish to grandparents AND grandkids. What do we do? Stay in touch in some way, electronic or other means. And remember, our days are numbered by God and Him alone. Faith, Hope and Love – the greatest is Love. Let that be your testimony.

Love the message. Depending on the circumstances each new “normal “ will look different. You have to try to be creative in connecting with the grandchildren. Think outside the box.
Even though it was March we bundled up and spent time outside. It’s about the quality not quantity of time.
I look back at the memories we made during this lockdown and feel so blessed with the memories we made.
