Did you ever experience that as a newly married couple? It seems a bit silly today, but you can extend that so-called silliness to your kids and God? What do I mean? Wouldn’t it be great if we made an effort to think about our spouse each day at work and let them know? Be specific. “How did your meeting go? I was thinking about you.” Our kids enjoy being thought about, too. “How was your third-hour test? I prayed that you would remember everything you studied.” What about God? Do you take time to think about Him? He has great joy in loving us and seeing lost people come to Him. “Let us praise God for his glorious grace, for the free gift he gave us in his dear Son!” (Ephesians 1:6 GNT).
