You’re sitting at a restaurant. You get ready to pray for your meal, but you’re uncomfortable because people are watching, so you don’t. Let me ask you something. How did that make you feel? What kind of example did you send to your family? I was in Egypt recently, and I got to see Christians living out their faith by saying a public prayer, even though it could mean their lives. While I was sitting there with them, before we started praying, I was told, “They are Muslim Brotherhood. Do you still want to pray?” I did, but for the first time I was scared. The verse “I am not ashamed of the Gospel” came to mind. Let’s teach our kids to be bold, shall we?
