I love stories about kids in church. They crack me up. Here’s a story I ran across recently. Six-year-old Angie and her four-year-old brother Joel were sitting together in church. Joel giggled, sang, and talked out loud. Finally, his big sister had enough. “You’re not supposed to talk out loud in church.” “Why? Who’s going to stop me?” Joel asked. Angie pointed to the back of the church and said, “See those two guys standing by the door? They’re hushers.” I love what the Bible says about laughter: “A joyful heart is good medicine” (Proverbs 17:22, ESV). “He who sits in the heavens laughs” (Psalm 2:4, ESV). “Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice” (Psalm 32:11, ESV). Laugh with your family today.
