A Parent Minute parent emailed me telling me that her daughter had graduated from high school. She didn’t know what to do. She was scared. She didn’t have great grades, didn’t want to go into debt, didn’t want to fail, didn’t want to miss out, and didn’t want to become an adult, yet wanted to. Remind you of anybody? All of us, right? Here’s what I wrote. First, don’t panic. Our kids can’t have it all figured out. Second, God DOES have it all figured out. We just need to walk through the open doors. Third, Paul says don’t be anxious about ANYTHING, but pray. Today, her daughter has a full-time job with benefits, including a 401k. Not bad for a 19-year-old with no plans, right?
