I don’t know about you, but I’m getting tired of the political turmoil within the United States. No matter how you feel about the outcome of the election, you’ve got to be getting tired of it, too. I know a lot of Parent Minute listeners are. I got a question from a listener recently asking how to talk to her kids about the conflicts they’re facing in the classroom. The first thing we can do is encourage our kids to ratchet down the anger. Winning an argument isn’t the goal. The goal is to love people. When faced with antagonistic political words, encourage your kids to reflect Christ. Words like, “You may hate him. Others like him. I choose to pray for him.” Can’t go wrong with that.
