Here’s a question for you. When do you let your kids start picking their clothes and not say anything when they make bad choices? A Parent Minute listener says, “We fight all the time about clothes being too tight or too short. Sometimes I just want her to get feedback from her peers. Maybe that will help.” I feel your pain. Clothing and other fashions can be a huge battle with our kids. Did you ever think that it was a spiritual one? Is Satan using it to drive a wedge between us and our kids? Also, where is your daughter’s heart? Sometimes we expect them to act like Christians when they aren’t. If your daughter is near adulthood, you can still pull rank, but what are they going to they learn from that?
