Homeschool. No matter who you are, you have a preconceived idea of homeschooling. Some have positive thoughts about it. Others, not so much. Some homeschoolers thrive. Some don’t. If you’re a proponent of homeschooling, you’re all in because you’ve seen the successes. If you’re not so keen on the idea, you wonder if homeschoolers are getting a good education and social skills needed in the real world. Homeschooling isn’t for everybody, but neither is public or private school education. In Christ, “there are many parts, but one body” (1 Corinthians 12:20 ESV). Let’s celebrate those who believe they can be a positive influence in public education, but let’s also honor parents who feel called to teach their kids at home.
