As adults, you can’t help but notice how immodest our culture is today. Now, don’t be offended but, what some people call pants, I call IDN TST (“I didn’t need to see that”). Today’s beaches—I don’t even like going anymore. What some people call swimsuits, I call band-aids. How do we train our kids to care about modesty? Test it early and often. Call me old-fashioned, but our older girls weren’t allowed to wear two-piece swimsuits, until tankinis came out. Now, that compromise on the tankini was an open door for my youngest daughter to think bikinis were okay. Stay strong and consistent. Remember, you’re not only protecting your daughter’s testimony, you’re protecting someone else’s son from temptation.
