Yesterday, I answered a question from a single mom asking how she could teach her son how to treat a woman. I’d like to continue that thread today. Men, if you know a single mom with a son, reach out to that young man. Invite him to join your family at a baseball game. Invite him over to play basketball with your kids. Let him participate in family devotions. Do the things you think he needs to see you do as a father and husband, so he can imitate it when he gets older. The other thing is tell him why you’re doing what you’re doing—because you’re following Christ and you’d like him to follow Christ, too. Example can lead to eternal change.
