As a parent or grandparent, the last thing we want to do is be separated from our kids or grandkids. We love them. How do we handle a situation where our kids won’t let us see our grandkids, or they’re too afraid to come see us because they don’t want us to get it, or get something from us? It’s hard. But here’s the answer. Do what’s best for your family. It might not be the same for each family member, either. Whatever you do, don’t minimize the situation, and don’t live in fear either. The Bible says “fear not” over 365 times. If our kids and grandkids are followers of Christ remind them of God’s protection. And if they’re not, tell them about it.
