Dr. Gary Chapman has written an amazing book called The 5 Love Languages of Children, and yours has one of them, I’m sure. Today, we’re looking at the third one in his book. Do you have a son or daughter who’s constantly coming to you and saying, “Mom, will you read with me?” or “Dad, let’s play catch.” Chapman says chances are they’re revealing their primary love language of spending quality time together. He says it’s not only about the time, but the time spent talking and loving on each other. When this is your child’s love language, lack of quality time with them could cause them to wonder if you really love them. You can get a copy of The 5 Love Languages of Children at our website.
