That saying is true. It’s also true that the internet doesn’t corrupt somebody’s mind; it’s the willing person who created the website or the one who willingly goes there. But, isn’t that the case with many of the things God has allowed man to create? Cameras capture God’s beauty, but they exploit too. Radio and television can help us communicate in times of emergencies, but they can also communicate trash. As parents, our goal is to help our kids know that every good and perfect gift is from the Father above, but it’s man who perverts it. Need an example? Mom, make some cookies. Put them out on a plate and say, “There you go.” As greed sets in, identify it. Talk about it. Then remind them why we need Jesus.
