Teenagers are under a lot of pressure—fear of failure, rejection. They may not say it out loud, but anxiety runs deep, especially in today’s world where cancel culture is real. Parents, don’t dismiss their fears—listen. But also point them to truth. Remind them who they are in Christ and who He is—sovereign, faithful, present. Encourage them to journal, pray, and anchor their thoughts in Scripture. 2 Timothy 1:7 says, “God hasn’t given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.” That’s the confidence we want our teens to carry into life—not fear, but faith in Christ. Spend time together in spite of their busyness.
