The baby you waited patiently for nine months is now here, and it’s NOT what you expected. Endless crying. You’re pretty sure your baby is nocturnal and maybe allergic to sleep. You feel stressed, frustrated, guilty maybe because you’re not handling it well: “Am I a good parent? Am I doing something wrong?” First, don’t worry. It's going to pass. There are thousands, if not millions, of parents who are dealing with this right now. Cherish these moments. Sleepless nights will happen when they’re teens or adults, but for different reasons. More lessons? Unconditional love. Christ loves the unlovely; so should parents. And patience. Read 1 Corinthians 13.
