I grew up in a home where the neighbor kids always wanted to come over to our house to hang out. Why? Well, my dad was pretty cool. He teased just about everybody, and he made people laugh. The house was always well put-together. My mom allowed us to experiment or gave us fun suggestions of things to do. But, if you have a home where your kids’ behavior is making that difficult, I empathize with you. Tension is too often a part of our home because of three passionate people. It’s not fun. What should we do? Even if your kids are facing discipline issues, make time for fun. Nothing shows unconditional love more than families spending time together, laughing.
