How many times have you said that to one of your kids? Too many times for me to count. Not. Good. I remember especially when my older kids were younger, I spent so much time working, and trying to get ahead, and making a name for myself that I missed a ton of things. I missed concerts, games, special events, and just throwing a baseball or shooting a basketball. You know you’re missing things when your kids come home—full of joy—talking about the cooking project your daughter worked on with her friend’s mother, or the pick-up basketball game your son played with his friend’s dad. Well, all that changed with my youngest, who came much later. You can change, too.
