Kids today are connected to the internet so often that I think they’d die from withdrawal if it was taken away from them. Every day it seems there are new apps, software, or something like it coming out that kids are excited about. How do we protect them? How do we KNOW we’re protecting them—since we’re nowhere NEAR as tech savvy as they are? I have some help for you. It’s called Protect Young Eyes: Defending Kids from Online Dangers. This website at ProtectYoungEyes.com will help guide you as new apps come out. This website lists apps your kids may be using today and rates them for kid-friendliness. Why be concerned? If we allow an app to lead our kids astray, aren’t we guilty of Mark 9:42? I don’t want a millstone around my neck.
