Deep down, our kids really want us parents to be in love and on the same page.  But, they’re also little sinners and they want their own way. So, sometimes they’ll pit Mom against Dad saying things like, “But Mom said” or “Dad said I could.” There will be a time when sweet little Kayla complains to Dad that Mom’s being mean, or vice versa. First, make sure you are on the same page BEFORE you make a decision. Then, make sure you listen because your son or daughter MAY have a point. Then calmly say, “I’ll talk with Mom.” Make sure you do, behind closed doors.  Then resolve the issue. Clarify things with little Kayla. It may mean discipline, or maybe an apology. But, don’t let it go. It’ll help our families grow.
