For the first time in over 25 years my mom and dad live near us. My family’s thrilled. As a parent and grandparent what are we doing to honor our parents? Now, if you’re like me, we find ourselves becoming the parents of our parents. It’s a change none of us really are prepared for. But, being that we’ve lived so far away from my parents, I’m trying to cherish my time with them more. On my Mom’s birthday, I realize that our time is limited. I want to honor her and my dad because they’ve done so much for me. It’s similar to how we should treat our heavenly Father. He provided salvation. Our parents gave us life. Together with our kids and grandkids, let’s honor them.
