Valentine’s Day is typically a day for couples. When we’re dating we can’t help but WANT to send flowers. Get that special card. Set up that amazing date. But once we’ve been married a decade or two, the passion of romance can go out the window. I’ll confess, I’m not the romantic I once was. We HAVE to be an example to our kids about how to show love to our spouse. If we don’t, how will they know how to do it. Make a big deal of Valentine’s Day. Shop for the special card. Guys, get flowers, give them to your wife IN FRONT of the kids. Kiss her and hug her passionately until they say things like “oh gross.” It’s something they’ll remember a life-time.
