Ask most kids what they want from Dad, and you won’t hear “money” or “stuff.” You’ll hear “time.” Father’s Day is a great reminder: your presence leaves a legacy. Deuteronomy 6:6–7 says, “These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children…” That means we can’t just tell them what’s right—we have to live it out, side-by-side. Play catch. Eat dinner together. Share your story—how you came to know Jesus. Show up to the school concert or game, even when work’s exhausting. Your consistent presence points to a heavenly Father who never leaves. Dads, your time is more powerful than you realize. This Father’s Day, commit to giving what your kids crave most—you.
