It’s summer. How’s it going? Kids are bored already, aren’t they? Don’t worry, it’s not too late to join the WORD with Zach summer reading program! That’s one thing that they can do and earn prizes. Go to WORDwithZach.org. Encourage your kids to dive into God’s Word and the devotional. As they do, God’s Word will speak truth into their lives. Don’t stop there. Actually go DO something. Give them chores to do. We can take our kids on nature hikes to marvel at God’s creation. Serve others through volunteering. Engage in arts and crafts projects. Proverbs 18:9 reminds us that “Whoever is slack in his work is a brother to him who destroys.” Don’t forget to create family moments in the meantime filled with laughter and connection.
