I’m not an expert in child psychology, but I raised four. I know when our kids seem “off” something’s not right. This COVID-19 virus is wreaking havoc on all of us, especially kids. A lot of kids tend to get quiet when they’re dealing with stress. Some act out. Sudden changes in appetite, sleep, or attitude can be telltale signs of it. Kids can miss the structure of school, their friends, extra-curricular activities, and grandparents. Parents, if you haven’t already, get some structure, schedule some face-time calls with friends and family, and TALK. It’s okay to let them know you’re not liking this season of life, either. But remember what the Bible says, in all things give thanks. And, God is in control.
