Kathy is a single mom. “You’re on your own. It’s an overwhelming life in which you are the sole breadwinner. The doctor, the teacher, the psychologist, the chef, the pastor and the chauffeur. Then there’s the jealousy of watching the absent parent excel, because he or she has no responsibility. No inconvenience. It’s the pressure of knowing that you are the only safety net your children have, and all it takes is one bad day. It’s a tightrope walk of faith.” I’m not going to pretend I have answers. But turn to God. Remind yourself that God is our help, shield, defender, provider, sustainer and all in all. Then, don’t be afraid to ask for help. God will provide. He always does.
