I KNOW. Especially THIS time of year. Our kids running and rolling around in the grass. They get sweaty. They ARE washing their hands, which is a plus, but we just can’t get them into the shower or bathtub. How do we DO it without it becoming a fight every night? First, if they’re strong-willed kiddos, let THEM make a decision about it. Say something like, “Hey Noah, Shower please. Your choices are after dinner, before bed, or morning.” This kinda helps them feel in control. Hold them accountable too. Other kids just hate the water. Mini umbrellas or goggles! That could be SO fun. Then PRAISE them for doing something they don’t like to do, which is a great life lesson.
