Our kids are older. They’re adults. We raised them the best we could, but they’re getting ready to make the biggest mistake of their lives. They’re marrying a person who not only doesn’t know the Lord, but they’re the opposite of everything we are as a family. Mom and Dad, I can tell you that I’ve been there. My son, who abandoned the faith in his late teens, didn’t do things the biblical way, but God used it. His girlfriend came to Christ, then her dad and his new wife, her sister, and, finally, my son came back to the Lord. As a married couple, today they love the Lord. And I’ve got godly grandkids. While that may not be our plan for our kid’s lives, God was there. Trust Him.
