It’s an issue that could be a lightning rod issue no matter how you respond. Depending on the state, you may be legally limited in what you can do publicly. But as a follower of Christ, our responsibility is to God alone, not man. Our role as parents is to point our kids to the truth in love. Genesis 1:27 is clear that God created humans in His image, male and female. Psalm 139 tells us God formed us with a purpose. The Bible NEVER differentiates a person’s gender from their sex. That’s changing God’s design. In essence, transgenderism replaces God, making it idolatry. God isn’t the author of confusion. Bottom line, knowing Jesus is the answer. Pray the Holy Spirit will do His work in their lives.
