“Hey, I’m Josh Wilson. I am a father of a two-year-old boy and sometimes I wonder what I will say when he asks me questions that I just have no idea what the answer is.” As a young father, it’s easy to think that we’re supposed to have all the answers. As a kid, I remember thinking that my dad was so smart. How many times would I say to friends, “MY dad says…” or “MY dad thinks…”? Josh, don’t worry about not having all the answers. That’s when we can show our humanness and let our kids know that our heavenly Father has all the answers—and that’s one of the reasons why we need to trust in Him. Moments like these can help us parents spiritually invest in the lives of our kids.
