This is a time of year we’re always hearing about daddy-daughter dances and dinners. It’s a time where certain organizations are encouraging dads to spend some quality time with their daughters. Our local Christian radio station hosts an annual Father-Daughter Banquet. Hundreds of dads and daughters get all dressed up, go to a banquet facility to eat, listen to great music, and talk. Dads, we don’t need a banquet to do this. Remember, if we’re not showing our girls how they should be treated by a guy, how are they going to know? These times together can be amazing. My three daughters still talk about it. And we have pictures and a secret hand-squeeze to prove it. Most importantly, it’s a time to talk about the amazing blessing God gave us—our daughters.
