This is a hard one—really hard for my wife and me because our grandkids are in New York and California. And it’s not an easy commute from Michigan. The question is, “How do we have a meaningful relationship with our grandkids when they’re so far away?” First, don’t wait for them to call you. Make sure you’re calling them regularly. With today’s technology, you can actually SEE them through FaceTime, Facebook, or Skype calls. And if you don’t know how to do it, your grandkids can help. And if your grandkids aren’t walking with the Lord, just love them and drop subtle reminders of God’s love for them and that you’re praying for them. This unconditional love goes a long way in leading them to Jesus.
