Proverbs 17:22 says, “A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” I don’t know about you, but I LOVE it when I see families having a great time laughing and playing together. There’s nothing better. While it’s great to teach our kids about God’s Word, sometimes that instruction can get…well, boring for our kids. When was the last time you just went outside and played? Went to the park? Threw water balloons at each other, or just told dad jokes? It’s those moments of laughter and togetherness that cements relationships and builds not only trust, but a bond that can’t be broken. That laughter, during times of uncertainty and fear, lets our kids know everything is going to be okay and God’s in control.
