There are a lot of people who God has gifted with good looks and a smart mind. Me? I have a face for radio and my mind—well, let’s just say it’s unique. How many times have you caught yourself saying something that WASN’T very encouraging about somebody challenged on the looks side? And how many times have you said something in front of your kids? You know, it’s easy to fall into that trap and, worse, we set a poor example for our kids. If this sounds familiar, just stop it. We all know that God created people uniquely and beautifully. And if you hear your kids judging people on their looks, remind them that they’re mocking one of God’s creations. If you fail to stop it, that ugliness will grow.
