As grandparents, we love our grandkids, don’t we? There’s pride, love, affection, and many of us say “there’s a limit.” You know what I mean. As we get older, the noise of the little ones can be fun and enjoyable for a while. Then, in our mind it’s easy to say, “Isn’t it time to go home now?” For young grandparents, you’re probably not there yet. For older grandparents where your grandkids are now having your great grandkids you know what I’m talking about. Just remember, old and crotchety gets you nothing but a bad reputation. But sweet spirits, joy, and heartfelt stories provides quality moments. Those can be Jesus moments where seeds of the Gospel can be planted. Don’t waste them.
