Babies don’t understand doctrine. But they absorb everything. Your tone. Your attitude. Your values. What’s important. That’s why it’s vital to start planting biblical truth early. Sing Bible songs. Read Scripture at bedtime. Talk about Jesus often. Don’t wait until they “get it”—start now. Deuteronomy 6:6–7 says, “These commandments…are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children.” Our kids are little sponges. And they’re not just learning to walk and talk—they’re forming their understanding of God and who Jesus is. You can’t see immediate fruit in infants, but that’s okay. Stay faithful. And remember—this isn’t about instant conversion. It’s about the beginning of discipleship and pointing our little ones to a perfect Savior.
