The COVID-19 crisis has kept many families at home for weeks. No school, sports, playing with friends, church – nothing. Just walks and maybe a bike-ride or two. While homeschool is now the norm for many families, aside from board games and movies, what else could we do together? Many families are looking for MINISTRY opportunities. How are we supposed to do that when we’re locked down? Maybe, we can follow the example of some families – ask our kids for ideas. One family is making masks for anyone who needs them. Another family is writing letters to neighbors. Yet another is giving away homemade bread. One family wrote to me and asked if I had any prayer requests because that was their new family ministry. This could be the beginning of a family mission statement.
