I can’t help but feel the pain of our coronavirus high school seniors. Not only were they forced to give up their spring athletic season, but spring musical, prom, awards ceremonies, special end of year activities with friends, and now graduation. What about college? As a parent, about the only thing we can do is mourn with our kids. We certainly don’t have the answers. We’ve never been through something like this. Certainly they don’t want to be preached at. I can’t help but be reminded of Romans chapter 12. Love sincerely. Be devoted to one another. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Sometimes mourning can make way for gospel conversations.
