I don’t know about you, but there have been a few days in the last few weeks that I look at our country and say, “Lord, I certainly don’t know what You’re doing. Are You sure You’re still in control?” This political season has me feeling—I wouldn’t say hopeless, but close to it. While I know God’s in control, the difficulty is knowing God may be bringing His judgment on our nation. But if we’re scared, how does this affect our kids? I think it can be significantly negative. If we’re constantly in a state of panic, what kind of message is that sending to our kids? I need to make sure that I’m reminding myself AND my kids that God’s in control, He has a plan, and it’s for His glory. But it’s not easy to practice, is it?
