Proverbs 31:30 says, “Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.” We need to encourage our daughters to read Proverbs 31:10-31 to help them focus on the virtues taught there. Love God, be faithful in marriage and respect her husband, to love and care for her family – especially children, care about herself, serve with kindness, be a good steward of what she’s been given, be industrious, manage her home well, don’t waste time, and embrace godliness. Being a godly woman doesn’t mean perfection, but pursuit of godliness. By investing in their spiritual lives at a young age, we can help them not only know Christ and become the woman that God has called them to be.
