“A house divided against itself cannot stand.” That quote from Abraham Lincoln continues to roll around in my head these days. It’s unbelievable the tension that’s in the air. What do we do when our kids are attacked by a teacher whose ideas and beliefs are so different than ours? As we raise our kids to believe in God, read the Bible, and understand salvation, they’re attacked daily by a rejecting non-Christian culture with shame, and sometimes even verbal and physical abuse. First, we need to make sure that they can defend what they believe. Secondly, practice Matthew 5. Love our enemies and pray.
