I overheard that one Sunday as little boys were using the platform as a launching-off point for their bodies being make-believe birds, and little girls playing tag. Today, many parents are permissive. Some say, “If they’re not hurting themselves or others they’re okay” not thinking that may not help them with self-discipline later in life. That permissiveness in THIS situation could potentially be hampering people from preparing their hearts for worship. Some of my favorite moments as a young father was hearing, “Your kids are so well behaved.” To a city broken into and left without walls. It doesn’t make kids more spiritual, just disciplined, which can lead to spiritual benefits in the future.
